Graduating with honours from the National University of Ireland, Dr Nanda completed Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology speciality training in Dublin and further advanced inflammatory bowel disease subspecialty training at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Centre in Boston, USA.

Moving to Australia for further advanced training in 2012, Dr Nanda achieved qualifications in therapeutic endoscopy at the world-renowned Westmead Hospital Endoscopy unit in Sydney.

His areas of interest include:

• Open access endoscopy

• Therapeutic endoscopy (ERCP, EUS, Endoscopic Mucosal Resection, luminal stenting)

Dr Nanda is an accomplished and active researcher, with numerous publications in his areas of interest. He is currently a senior lecturer with the University of Queensland and was also a clinical tutor for the University of Sydney and Harvard Medical School, Boston MA.
